The Evolution of Gan

The goal is to create a world large enough to get lost in.. but not stuck.

The above picture is supposed to be the entire planet of Gan. I wanted it to be immense.   After tinkering with the plot, this map is too small to be the entire planet but too big to be a world map. There is too much empty space.

Back in the Sack

I am back on task! There are signs of progress in some areas, brand new drawing boards in other areas but the game is back!

Not only is it back but it brought a new name with it too. Sack Assassins. See... It used to be called "Surrogate Assassins" but long story short, the game does not rely on being inside a surrogate.  So without the surrogate, the word has no business being in the title.  So I kept the concept and managed to weave a co-op experience into it as well.  You can play with or even against your friends.
                 The plot is still being developed but it will be steeped in Jaded Gamer humor ... E rated Jaded Gamer humor. The player will be a new initiate into an Assassin's guild that has a rough first day in training.

I thought it would be lame to kick off this "Under Construction" post with "Don't mind the mess..."so I decided to metaphorically create some. Anyways.  BAM.   ".com"

YourMommasBasement.com.  With an "O" I know it's confusing for like two seconds before you realize I went with Momma over Mamma.  I went with Momma for a lot of reasons.  Momma just seemed like the right fit.

I didn't want to get a domain with anything close to Jaded Gamer because I was late to that party which I feel like I should have been a part of back in 2008 when I took the moniker to Prime Time. Even though games and gaming will probably factor in heavily to this whole .com venture, I didn't want to pin myself down to specifically video games in general. There's a lot of crap in your momma's basement.

The idea of Your Momma's Basement is the idea of chilling down at somebody's parent's basement for whatever reason tend to bring good memories for most gamers and people in general. But for gamers it seems to be a den of memories. So I'm starting there. I'm back at your momma's basement with the chips and soda.

Keeping in mind that at least for now this is still a blog, I will utilize the powers of the internet and be more proactive in updating these pages... with something... anything as often as I can.  Then as the site expands, this blog will be a subsection of it.

Shout outs to Ballsrog, Commander Shepard, Wesker J, Da lysh and Rev Strack ... The Podcast crew over at GWA for making enough room for me.
